The fourth annual South Dakota Pride Fest will be held on July 21st and 22nd at the Whispering Pines Campground in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. There will be camping available at the site. For those who don't need hook ups for RVs you can contact The Center West for reservations. Tent sites and RV sites without hookups are available for $10 per night. If you need to have RV hook ups you will need to contact the Whispering Pines Campground at the above link to make reservations.
Headlining this summers Pride Fest will be Linda Boyle singer song writer out of Chicago. Other musicians and performers will be announced.
Several speakers have committed to attending the Pride fest including Adam Bass Media Field Strategist from GLAAD and Shawn Warner with The Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund. Adam and Shawn will also be facilitating some workshops for those who are interested.
Jennifer Ring, Director of the ACLU of the Dakotas will speak as will Kate Looby of Planned Parenthood of the South Dakota.
More speakers will be added. So stay tuned!
